In 2020, the award-winning building of the new Ethnographic Museum reached its highest point. The construction of the institution under the Liget Budapest Project is proceeding at a good pace on the site of the former car park, 56. The arched structure of the building, which will form two hillsides, can already be seen, while the underground floors, which also house exhibition spaces, are already undergoing professional work. The building of the Ethnographic Museum was already ready for construction last autumn, the new institution will be available to visitors in the spring of 2022.

These park developments are expected this year in Városliget
The landscape architectural renovation of Városliget will also continue, thanks to which the former historical entrance of the park, the Rondó, will be renewed and regain its old light, the Városliget Promenade will be added with a new section, and the park developments Benedek Gyorgyevics.
The rehabilitation of the area is also of historical significance, as the plans for the reconstruction of the park part were made by Garten Studio, one of the best landscape architects in Hungary, in the original XIX. He made the plans of the beginning of the 19th century using the site plans of Heinrich Nebbien.

The construction of the Városliget Promenade, the first section of which, above the Museum's Underground Garage, was handed over to the general public at the end of last year will also continue.
In the next phase, with the construction of the section between the Ethnographic Museum and the Art Gallery, the former Parade Square will be transformed into a full-length walkway, and the former car parked on more than a thousand surfaces will disappear permanently.
The elements of the renewed Városliget handed over so far enjoyed great popularity in 2020, the implemented developments have already attracted more than one and a half million visitors.
