The term of office of the National Assembly begins with its inaugural sitting, which is convened by the President of the Republic within 30 days after the election.
The task of the inaugural session is for the Parliament to create the basic personal and organizational conditions for its operation: to accept the election reports, to certify the mandate of the deputies, to elect the officials of the Parliament. Deputies take the oath at the inaugural meeting. By not going to the inaugural meeting, the members of Momentum will save the country a few hundred million forints in 4 years, as this will mean that they will not receive a salary. According to the law, a representative is entitled to an honorarium from the time of his or her oath to the termination of his or her term of office.
We don't want to pay for the Momentum campaigning for Romanian parties anyway, so go for it! Do not attend the meeting, we will not look at you as a representative anyway, you are just foreign-funded anarchists.
We also read that "their participation in the inaugural session of the National Assembly is subject to conditions" ... What? Do you still set conditions after such a jacket? Kids! Don't make things worse! It is no longer possible to sink deeper than this! More modesty! More respect for the electorate and Hungarian democracy!
